I put 50/50 winnings into my story, but only if it's a memorable amount. We have a local school that awards upwards of $2,500 for big games. Their record is $2,800ish, set during a playoff game a few years ago.

Do I buy a ticket? Yes. Sue me.

  2. I'm more offended by putting the 50/50 winnings into the story than I am you buying a ticket.

I still think I'll sue you, though.

The local town is Metamora, one of the state's top downstate football programs. People are interested in how big the pot gets; it gets to be talk of the area. I only insert it in end notes, and only when it nears or surpasses the record.

  4. Just kidding, CI.

But you will be hearing from my attorney.

    Murph will be mine!

Murph is in my wife's name and partially owned by an offshore bank. Good luck.

I agree. Probably won't on the next 3,758 topics, but I completely agree on this one.
