Man, $4300 is gonna look like chump change by the time she finalizes her book deal and does her interviews on Dateline and Larry King.

Speaking of book deals, ABE Books announces The Hooker Prize:

Welcome to the Hooker Prize - in honor of Elliot Spitzer and his fall from grace in a New York minute, AbeBooks.com has compiled a list of 10 recommended non-fiction reads about hookers, madams, high-class callgirls and prostitutes.

    http://www.abebooks.com/docs/Community/Featured/hooker-prize.shtml

Still # 1 after all these years is The Happy Hooker which has sold an estimated 15 million copies.

Ms Hollander was a guest at a Canadian book convention (I think it was Halifax) just after the book was published.

Binky Marks, one of Canada's legendary booksellers "dated" Ms. Hollander after her autographing session and died that night of an apparent heart attack.

(This is absolutely a true story and has not grown with the telling)

Wasn't Hollander the one who used to (maybe she still does; I don't know) pen that column in Penthouse Magazine every month?

    I did the math.

For Spitzer $4,300 works out to be about $57 in sports journalist dollars.

Yeah, thought so. I used to pause at that page in my youth, before frantically trying to get to the centerfold while my dad was in the other room.

Those shirts are funny and all, but who would actually wear one?
