Sperm ... Bank

Kansas man donates his sperm to lesbians. Everyone signs papers agreeing that his donation is goo, and goo only -- zero child support. But because he didn't donate in the proper fashion, a judge ruled he must pay child support. I wonder if the women knew that ahead of time and trapped him into the donation knowing a judge would void the contract.

But it isn't the women who are suing. It's the state, which has given the women $6,000 already in public assistance because of the child.

Also, the whole case hinges on the fact that they didn't use a licensed physician. You go through all that and you don't use a doctor? I don't get it. When I first read the story, I thought they had maybe skipped the "artificial" part of artificial insemination.

 

Right, the women are not suing. Maybe they're savvy that way and knew what would happen. Highly unlikely, but it would be funny if that was their scheme.
