Shannon Sharpe is taking a break....

ATLANTA, Georgia -- Former Denver Broncos tight end Shannon Sharpe has taken a leave of absence from his job as an NFL analyst for CBS in light of a sexual assault allegation levied against him, the New York Times reports.

Atlanta's Fulton County Superior Court has granted a temporary restraining order against Sharpe following a petition filed by Michele Bundy under the category of "family violence," the Times reported.
