    I have to say, a huge part of what endeared me to my future wife was her willing acceptance of my child - I was a full-time single dad with a 17-month-old son, and they clicked immediately. Her parents also accepted him without hesitation.

    Even though we're not together, she still considers him her oldest son, he still calls her "Mom," her parents are still his "Nana and Poppa" and he sees and talks with all of them regularly. I'm very happy for that.
