Sopranos 5/20

Discussion in 'Anything goes' started by PhilaYank36, May 20, 2007.

  1. Great ep.

Anyone else get the feeling when Meadow told Tony about the scumbag that she morphed into Tony's mom? Her mannerisms reminded me of Livia right then.

I too nearly teared up at the pool scene. The whole show has built such a powerful family emotion, I feared AJ being a floater.

You know what I thought when Tony jumped into the pool? I stopped thinking it when I realized that there were still episodes left?

I thought he was going to pull a Joe Delaney or a Tom Mees. That was my first gut reaction.

The Sopranos is evoking emotion in me again ... and, while it's going to make the show ending that much harder, I'm ecstatic that it's not going out with a whimper. Instead, it's going out like it should -- in my opinion, one of the top 4 shows on TV (along with The Shield, Heroes and Lost).

Add The Wire to that list.

    What does that mean?

And I love these guys on Phil's crew that come in for one episode, run their mouths, and then promptly get beat down or killed. Like Fat Dom Gamiello in 6A's penultimate episode.

I think he means he thought Tony might drown while saving A.J.

I don't see those in this caliber at all.

Were those split hot dogs slathered in mayo? or ricotta cheese?

I actually think The Wire is better than the Sopranos, and that is some pretty high praise.

The Office is also in this top three as well.

It was cream cheese I think.
