Oh, and Headbutt passed the same rule I did. Cherry-Coke Slurpees would be the nectar of the gods, if sweet tea didn't already have that moniker.

Buck touched on it, but sweet tea is where it's at, folks. Wish there was more to say here ...

(The preference would be for Chicken E sweet tea, but I'll do with whatever's at hand.)

Lots of things affect fountain beverages...someone mentioned clean nozzles...yes, they should be soaked each night.
Also, the lines running from the bag in the boxes need to be cleaned regularly. The bag in the box does have an expiration date on it so if a place doesn't sell a ton of soda, it could be out of date, or they may not have rotated properly and it's expired. Regarding the ratio of CO2 to syrup.....I have never heard of altering this to "save money". 9 times out of 10 the CO2 or the syrup is out.

Restaurants already make a ton of money on fountain soda....

And just when I thought my love IJAG couldn't grow any deeper. :)

Pepsi on ice is the best. Almost makes me wish I hadn't given up soda two years ago (at least, soda without booze in it).

Give me a Cheerwine in a glass bottle over anything else (still uses cane sugar instead of corn syrup).

I'll settle for a SunDrop though if the red stuff isn't available.
