Sodom in the sun

Arizona's about to make history. With 93 percent of the vote in. the constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage is trailing by about 30,000 votes.
And this is in a flyover state. This is not Massachusetts. This is not California. The amendment was damned close in South Dakota, too - not a blue state, really.
Of all the states that have put this amendment on the ballot the last three elections, the people of Arizona are the first to stand up and just say no to the bigots. Wonder how the right will react - will they take it out on McCain?
