    Might as well put a goldfish swimming in a fishbowl on for 90 minutes. Or, even better, a bunny with a pancake on its head.

    This doesn't explain everything, but SNL's budget got trimmed considerably. Which explains part of why you're seeing a smaller cast and more of the same peeps in every sketch.

    Does ANYBODY except sports folks who get off work late on Saturdays watch this show anymore? Since becoming un, I mean, self-employed, I haven't.
