Smokin': Obama and his cigs

He also doesn't care for approval polls. So does that make him a poll-smoker?

 

I hope he's not quitting just because he's running for President.

 

As weird as this sounds, I feel like smoking is good for his candidacy. He's such a "golden boy" that an imperfection makes him more human.

 

Ford smoked a pipe.

And poll-smoker was hilarious.

 

JFK did smoke, though I don't know if he did daily or not.

I'm pretty sure there are allusions to that in Bradlee's memoir.

 

I ain't voting for Obama. They just redid the Lincoln Bedroom and I don't want cigarette burns everywhere. It's my tax money, dammit.

 

Smoking makes you cool and that just adds to Barack's luster.
The article implied that Ike quit before he was elected, but I seem to remember pics of him in the oval office puffing away. But Kennedy, Nixon, Bush I, and Clinton all enjoyed cigars, while Ford was a pipe smoker.
I like it that Laura Bush is a secret smoker. But George Dub is such a fitness nut that it almost seems he's traded one addiction for another.

 

Remember, if she smokes, she pokes.
