Exactly. You write that and no so-called moderator calls you out. I write it, and I'm called out and it's unleash the hounds.
    That's bull and totally disrespectful.
I'm not a fan of Skip but I respect that he has a point of view. I respect many different points of view.
That's the major problem with this message board, people not opening their minds to different viewpoints but too quick to down someone whose viewpoint is different.
No wonder the political board is no more. If you can't talk openly about sports or race in sports, how in the hell do you expect to talk about politics?
    Just sayin.

It's OK to disrespect a 'point of view.' Especially when the 'point of view' in question is no more than for-profit race baiting.

I'm not race-baiting and don't know where you are trying to go with this.

I absolutely do think he believes that's true.

Bayless is the race-baiter and it's part of the ESPN playbook.

You keep saying you respect that Bayless has a "point of view."

I'm saying there's no reason to respect race baiting as a "point of view," whether Skip Bayless comes by it cynically or sincerely.

You wanna know why the general public thinks sportswriters are idiots? Just look at who ESPN promotes as the "best" of what we have -- completely idiotic self-promoters.

Bayless is like Tracy Jordan. He transcends race.

    Who's Skip Bayless?

I said I understand where he's coming from. I don't necessarily agree with his viewpoint, but I understand his thinking.

I stand by that. I never said I agreed with him.
