    It doesn't help that the best numbers guy in the SEC is injured and on a team that badly underachieved or that the best team is not the type to produce big numbers guys. This is about as obvious a POY race as I have seen in a long time. Durant should be nearly unanimous.

    Oz, I made this case in the Eagle last week. That's how I would vote. Durant is unreal - no one debates that. But shouldn't someone who has willed their team to perhaps the league title be rewarded? Give the B12 POY to Law and the national POY to Durant.

    I voted for Durant. There's nobody I'd rather have for 40 minutes. But there's nobdoy I'd rather have in the last six minutes than Acie Law IV. I hope these teams play again in the Big XII Tournament.
