Me and my buddies were debating about this earlier today. I'm going with Durant, but Neitzel has really impressed me this year. If he isn't your POY, that's fine. But I think that if there was an MVP award, he'd definitely deserve it.

If Neitzel is on the list, why not DJ Strawberry, who also helped contain him back in November? Jeff Green belongs on there before either of those two.

The answer is your list is way too long, Chuckie. ;)

  3. Durant. And it's not close.

    I'm thinking Durant.

On a vaguely related note, I am bitter because I received my Wooden Award voting mailing and I just realized I won't get to vote anymore because I moved to a new state.

I don't know. I think Acie Law is making a strong push.

Um, ever heard of Kentucky star Bobby Perry?

If I must be serious ... it has to be Durant, right?

What is Demetris Nichols doing on this list?

  9. 24.7 points, 11.3 rebounds per game -- both of which are in the top 5 in NCAA Division I. And he's doing it in the Big 12, not exactly a substandard conference. Like I said, it's not close.

I was just trying to think of as many people as possible to be on the list. I can see now that I've made some of you angry.
I apologize to my fans, my family, and SportsJournalists.com. But don't worry, I'm going to rehab so start feeling sorry for me.

Why is this our list... shouldn't this be Chuck's?

I was thinking of putting Tommy Amaker in but I thought I'd be pushing it just a little too much.
