    That's right, kids.

    1. J. Jagr Stormin' Canes
    2. J. Thornton Kwik-E-Mart Gougers
    3. D. Heatley Puttin' on the foil
    4. S. Crosby The Rolling Rocks
    5. M. Kiprusoff Charmion Cockdian
    6. A. Ovechkin Cape Fear Flyers
    7. J. Cheechoo Junction Hosers
    8. D. Alfredsson F**kabunchaDucks
    9. I. Kovalchuk TheCrosbyShow
    10. J. Spezza SnapDragons
    11. M. Brodeur RonTugnutt'sgroin
    12. R. Luongo Zamboni Roadkill

    Can TheCrosbyShow repeat?
How will Zamboni Roadkill handle the 6-goalie rotation?
Can RonTugnutt'sgroin win with no players older than 23?
Will the Cape Fear Flyers finish the season with nothing but Philadelphia Flyers?

All that and more, coming soon.

In this fantasy, will hockey still be less popular than the WNBA?

Actually, in this fantasy, all the folks who don't like hockey will stay the fuck away and save their pithy comments for the political threads.

    It's a fantasy, I know. ;D

I feel bad because I missed the thread to register, so last year's third-place team -- Super Mario Bros. -- will not be in the mix again. But I wish everyone good luck.

Last year's second place WHA team, the Charlestown Chiefs, missed out too.

We're already starting to see some unrest in the lockerroom. But, to be honest, I didn't go in looking to draft six goalies, but I figured why not. And I didn't sacrifice the offensive players too much.

Of course, I am only playing with four d-man (instead of the six alloted), but aside from a few d-men, they are really only good for plus-minus.

Even if I don't play all six goalies, it keeps them off other teams. And since you have to have three goalie starts each week, some teams could be hard pressed to get that.

I am open to trades tho.

RonTugnutt'sgroin was built from the nets out. Marty, King Henrik, Brizzy, Hannu Tov., Phaneuf, Niedermayer...we'll be fine, don't you worry.

The other question: Will Jagr repeat last year's monster numbers and make me -- the Stormin' Canes' GM -- look smart or get hurt and make me look stupid?
