    Read a book called "Letters of the Century" made up of letters from the 1900s. Letters from Einstein to FDR, Elvis to Nixon, letters home from the front, etc.... something about a letter. People are willing to put their thoughts down in ink and don't care (perhaps hope) that it is dug up decades later because they are certain their feelings won't change.
