Have to be a bit of an obit junkie for some of these, but still ... that's totally Silas Simmons in the picture from '13. A pretty big loss for baseball. Too bad he wasn't "discovered" until September.

 

Wow. Better late than never for the discovery, though. You almost have to wonder if that was what he had been waiting for and then he could let go.

RIP, indeed.
