    Virginia has really deep pitching staff, which will be big come tournament time. Having Roberts, Justin Thompson, Branden Kline and some others available in the pen could be the difference between getting to Omaha and not.

    As a former SID, it's pure crap to write six graphs before mentioning the other school's pitcher threw a perfect game. It's one thing to not fuss about another's school's perfect game, but to put in in the seventh paragraph is dumb. There simply can't be six worthwhile paragraphs of information if someone throws a perfect game against your team.

    Also, I hate the use of "would score." It happened. Write "scored."

    I know a local SID who says everything is played "from Blankety-blank Stadium." The next game is "from Shenandoah University."
     
  4. Who cares? It's a PR guy, this is what he does. This is a non-story.

    We care because this is our starting point to do shorts/roundups/etc.

    It's not a non-story to us.
