Should the 9/11 anniversary still be on the front page?

My thought is no, because at some point, it has to come off the front. Five years was long enough, I think. Most of the commemorations I've seen have been half-hearted, as though people feel like they have to do something.

    Thoughts?

There's always going to be stories on this, on 9/11. Heck, there's still stories that surface every year about JFK's assassination, right?

Besides, there's how many stories out there that deal with victims families, aspects of the rescuers and then don't forget about what we're doing in Iraq. That alone keeps 9/11 on the front page.

Why would this even be a question?

I'm curious to know your qualifications for a good 1A story?

You said that, my friend, not me.
This is not a topic I take lightly.

This is no ordinary anniversary. Will it come off the front someday? Yeah, probably. Is this that day? Hell no.

  12. I figured. I've got family in NY. It's best not to even broach the subject with them ...
