Should Bill James be in the Baseball Hall of Fame?

    And Canadians were running NHL playoff pools long before Mr. Okrent and his cronies booked a table at La Rotisserie. I remember my old man holding the draft at our house for all his work buddies in the early-70s.

    What Huggy said.

    The huge growth of fantasy everything is because of computerization and online stat services.

    I was in a rotisserie b-ball league back in the early 80's and the guy who kept the stats (all done manually) kept 20% of the pot. It was a thankless job.

    Keeping 20 percent of pot is never thankless, just makes you hungry.
