This is all over the news here. Saw it on CNN and Faux News as well.

No reports of any injuries yet, but a friend of mine said she's locked in the dorm where the shooting supposedly happened.

Have several other friends at WKU that I have yet to hear from. So, prayers/kind thoughts would be appreciated.

Fuck. Let's just pray that it's only shots fired.

According to the school site, there has been no verification of shots.

Still, fingers crossed for all involved.

edit: Apparently the school site is well behind, as CNN's story has school officials verifying shots fired.

I'm a WKU grad and my brother just spoke to his girlfriend (still a student) and said SWAT teams were on the campus and she is locked in the student center.

The College Heights Herald says someone has been detained. http://media.www.wkuherald.com/media/storage/paper603/news/2008/10/21/BreakingNews/Someone.Detained.For.Questioning.In.Shots.Fired.Investigation-3499604.shtml

    Fingers crossed it's nothing major.

There's really nothing funny about this right now. So uh, don't no one try to be a fucking comedian, ok?

  7. http://www.wkuherald.com/ The lockdown has been lifted, and there's been no confirmation of weapons.
