Shorts at the WCWS?

I know there's been discussion of wearing shorts at high school stuff, but would it be appropriate at the Women's College World Series? A big-time event, but it's going to be hotter than hell every day. Thoughts?

I don't have a problem with it. I'm sure many of the wannbe Mr. Blackwells on this board will.

EDIT: I don't have a problem with sandals, either. It's how people dress for the outdoors.

 

If the heat is brutal, or even mildly uncomfortable, I got no problem with shorts.

But for God's sake, no sandles! :

 

If you must wear sandles, at least wear socks.

I've never owned a pair of sandals in my life.

Thanks for the feedback...I'd like to wear jeans, but don't know if I'll be able to stand it.

Seriously, I thought you meant the players too. Shorts should be fine for you. It's not THAT "big-time" of an event. And no sandals (or sandles, for that matter).
