Shocking headline not so shocking

    LA Times puts out a headline and story claiming that the world's richest 85 people own have the world's wealth.

    Now, if you think about that for half a second, you would realize it's absurd.

    Turns out, they own roughly as much wealth as the bottom 50% of the worlds population. Pretty big difference.

    The link on the front page of the Chicago Tribune's website still reads:

    85 richest people on Earth own 46% of its wealth: report

    Maybe they should read the correction in the article it links to.

    hedline I saw (I didn't click) said 85 people have as much wealth as everyone else
