It's my favorite time of the summer. Well, close to it, at least.

A week packed full of Discovery Channel documentaries and tales featuring some beautiful and mysterious creatures.

I first began watching Shark Week in the early 90s while visiting my diad while stationed at Ft. Bragg. I'd plop down in the floor in front of the couch for hours and hours, fascinated by shark attacks and hunts, etc. I've missed only one Shark Week since and record (I'm not TiVo savvy, yet) them every one.

A good week of TV for my dollar.

Jaws remains one of my all-time favorite movies. When is it on?

Love the good ol days when i was in high school, and we'd be at the beach right now. Not a care in the world, besides where we were going to pick up girls.

    Thank goodness for cameras.
