Do people really think she's a "goddess?"

I'm not really a big fan of chipping away at the looks of beautiful women, but....

Ms. Sharapova has an exceptional figure. There is no disputing that. But in terms of beauty, she has a very average face. That might be uncouth to say, but I think it's the truth. Seriously, I went to high school with girls who were more "beautiful" than her. (I hate the term "butterface." It reminds me of every frat guy I ever wanted to punch in the nose. So please refrain from using it.)

But if we're going to start referring to Maria in such fawning terms, I think we should be honest about it.

She's kinda average looking. Great legs though.

Seriously, DD, I'm going to have disagree with you. I'm usually not one to go fawning over every female that walks the earth, but she's pretty damn good looking.

Since she's Russian, it makes me think: Since Communism collapsed, isn't there many more babes being shown from Russia than there was before - when even the figure skaters (who are typically attractive) were evil looking?

The only semi-hot Russian I can remember when they were known as Soviets was Nelli Kim, the gymnast.

 

If that's really her, everything is pushed up a lot...
