So she's 20 weeks along and age 35. Does she ever play competitively again?

EDIT to add: Congratulations to her.

    From the link........

Williams has won more Grand Slam titles than any other player in the Open Era, earning her 23rd at the Australian Open in January.

In early March, she pulled out of Indian Wells and Miami, citing a knee injury. Her last competitive match was the Australian Open final, a 6-4, 6-4 victory over her sister Venus

    He didn't though.

I could see her winning a Wimbledon or US Open at age 37-38. As long as her serve is working well and she wants to compete, she'll always be a threat.

Guess she'll have to forfeit the Australian Open title. She was playing 2 against 1 during that event. :)

As multiple people have noted by simply counting backwards, Serena was probably about 10 weeks pregnant when she won her 23rd Grand Slam ... and didn't lose a set.

Any British bookies have odds on her kid for Wimbledon 2034 yet?

Well, yeah. She was playing with the power of a grown, world-class athlete AND a tiny baby.

If I'm doing the math right, that puts her due date in early September. Perhaps if they induce a little early, the USTA will give the child a wild card into the main draw at Flushing Meadows.
