Senior Sports Producer

Baltimoresun.com is seeking a full-time senior sports producer to coodinate
online coverage.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Maryland sports on the
professional, collegiate and high school level. Fantasy sports knowledge a
plus. Experience in reporting and editing are a must, as are computer skills
and a broad knowledge of sports and news. Strong copy editing skills are
required.

Evening and weekend hours required.

This person will work closely with the newspaper and multimedia staffs.
Emphasis will be on breaking news, but enterprise projects are encouraged.
This position requires solid organizational and interpersonal skills and the

I guess the stereotype that web jobs are easy continues. Fact is, there is more involved than print people could imagine.

 

Thought the guy who had this gig was someone who came to Baltimore from Harrisburg not too long ago. Surprised it'd be open again so quickly.

 

Maybe he couldn't do it all.
