Nice little place up in Caldwell County. Got to know a couple of staffers there years ago.

Paper is OK, not superlative but in this market, one could do far, far worse.

When they say American Legion baseball, they mean it. It's a definite hotbed for the two inning too long activity.

Not a bad spot at all. The editor, Nathan Key, was once the SE and is a good guy. The American Legion program in Caldwell is top draw. I have swapped stories with these guys in the past and they were a bunch to work with. I wonder where Justin is going.

Is this more than a 1-person shop?

From what I can tell on their site, it's a two-person shop. Morganton, which is about the same size, is also two people, and Hickory is two people and a lot of stringers despite being as big as the other two combined.

Anything east of 95 and north of Pamlico Sound has the F_B Mom seal of approval.

    Doesn't fit the criteria. Sorry.
