That did not make them any more enjoyable to watch.

It's all relative. I would take Missouri-Kentucky ahead of Indiana-Illinois any day, precisely because of that higher level of talent.

Well, if we're in "gun to my head" territory ... but CBS, ABC, Fox, ESPN, ESPN2 and probably FX are all going to have a better game on at that time.

Amen to that. Yes, the SEC does have its share of teams that struggle to finish over .500 on a yearly basis (and I'm a Kentucky fan, so I can speak on this). However, I can assure you that if you put the talent in the SEC up against any other conference in the country, the SEC is going to win a lot more than it loses.

And will the Three Daves still have jobs?

The West Coast SEC Haters Association can snark away, but the be-all and end-all questions in football recruiting are:

    A. Can you get me to the NFL?

    B. Will we be on TV a lot?

The SEC secured its dominance in "A" a long time ago (and reinforced that last week), and now it's secured "B." Even the coach at Kentucky or Vanderbilt can tell his recruits "every game you ever play in college will be on national television." That's worth a hell of a lot.

Another picture that made me laugh out loud in my clinic. Well-played, sir.
