This is quite an interesting matchup to end State's pre-conference slate.
Tell me, is the new arena as cozy and intimidating as the Hearnes Center was?

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- With Hoops McCann predicting a road loss Capping off a six-day road trip, the Bulldogs of Mississippi State (9-3) conclude the non-conference portion of their 2006-07 regular-season schedule by traveling to Columbia, Mo., to take on the Missouri Tigers (10-2) Tuesday night at 15,061-seat Mizzou Arena.

The new arena can be REALLY loud whether it's almost full or not. I was covering the state high school championships and it wasn't that full, but it was so loud I could barely hear myself think.

I just view it as an upgraded version of Hearnes, though, in all other aspects.

I've been to three games there, and it's gorgeous... but I think MU lost all three games. Apparently it was so loud during the KU game last year that the Jayhawk who ended up ganking both game-winning free throw attempts couldn't shoot at first because the basket was swaying. It'll be interesting to see what happens now that a team that knows how to play basketball is playing there now.

Unless it's a thread about the following:

    (1) A pro-PC topic.
    (2) Sex.
    (3) Movies about sex.
    (4) Shield law.
    (5) Obscure musicians and the "music" they attempt to make.
