The Sacramento Surge have something to say about what's ugly:

So this is what it takes to get people here to acknowledge the Seahawks? As a lifelong fan, the unis are bad. I wish they would go back to the look they had back in the day. The throwback ones are great.

Not a fan of the new collars for some of teams, mainly Buffalo. Looks like Steve Rogers is about to take the field.

I didn't mind the bright green when Seattle wore them. It wasn't that lemon-yellow camoflauge shit that Baylor had.

Many of the players who were at the "unveiling" in Brooklyn loved the Seahawks' jerseys. This is important to know because generally speaking the people who complain about all these newfangled uniforms and lament about how hideous they are, those people, nobody in charge cares what those people think.

The people who like them (young players and fans of a similar demographic) are the people who matter.

I wasn't surprised that most of the teams basically stuck with what they had. Very few NFL teams need to dabble in the type of re-branding that goes along with major uniform alterations.

And Seattle's doesn't strike me as being so radically different but maybe I need to see them side-by-side.

Heard that the Jaguars all-black jerseys and the Dolphins orange alternates were homeruns.

I'm waiting for them to go retro cause I really liked the royal blue, green and silver of the 1970s and 80s.

Nike should never be allowed to design uniforms for anything. I'm convinced some of their people must be on drugs. The NFL doesn't need Nike's money.
