"Special prosecutor is unconstitutional." Funny, the GOP didn't seem to think it was 10 years ago.

    The special prosecutor is hot.

Having said that, who's making book on the date of Presidential Pardon for Scooter?

The day Scooter is to stand at the prison gate. Whatever day that will be.

I take no pleasure in this guy going to jail.

But I guess when you fall on your sword, you actually have to fall on your sword.

  7. Nice argument, boys. A GOP AG employed by a GOP president appoints a Republican special prosecutor who gets a conviction, and NOW the process is unconstitutional? Fitzgerald's been on the job for three years, and they just noticed this serious flaw now?
Go to jail. Go directly to jail. Start serving your sentence today so that you can get halfway to that sweet wingnut welfare that awaits you when you get out.
(I don't believe I'm alone in thinking that, somewhere up the line, a Federalist Society hack on the appeals bench is going to bail this lad out.)

And yet, he doesn't see time inside a jail cell...

  9. Maybe a month or so, slap.

It's always the nice ones. Who knew Phil Rizzuto would spend time in the clink?

Bubbler, you beat me to it. I actually thought Rizzuto got arrested for something.

Maybe he'll pull a Frankie Pentangeli.

Can think of others I'd rather see hit the tub, though . . .
