Former CIA chief of the Bin Laden Issue Station and author of "Marching Toward Hell" just got mildly booed on "Real Time with Bill Maher" for saying that. Show started at the top of the hour and will be replayed, as usual.

Salman Rushdie and Janeane Garafalo (who has a lot of tattoos, I'm learning) are now mixing it up with Maher (and Rob Thomas).

So I'm guessing he doesn't fast on Yom Kippur.

I'm going to Google and see if I can confirm, but I think not.

I would if I could find it. That and Dublin Dr Pepper would be permanently stocked in my fridge.

Sorry, Boom bought it all last passover. He sells it on eBay.

How do you pronounce Scheuer? As in Fuhrer?

Between that and the Starbucks Ipanema Bourbon, he's got to have a nice little side business going...

Do you think he'd make me a deal to thank me for letting him know John Ed Bradley had a new book out?

Scheuer, whom a lot of lefties loved for "Imperial Hubris," has gone way, way off the reservation in recent months. His testimony to a congressional committee, which is in Harper's this month, is very wild.

MexiCoke works too. Find a Spanish market that gets its Coke in glass bottles from Monterrey or a similar bottling plant in Mexico. Cane sugar, baby.

My Costco has started carrying cases of it. I'm a very happy boy.

My local greasy Mexican place has MexiCoke in glass bottles.

    Fan-freaking-tastic.
