Hey, you gotta touch base before you can trot for a home run later that night.

Perhaps the multitude of moddies and Webby could sticky this thread?

    Thanking you kindly,

    HB

If the interest is there, HB , it will stay at the top.

That being said, any place that has entrees for $24 is going to be hella expensive for beers. If I take the Chinatown bus, I'll have to take a flask with me.

Are there no dives where beers are cheap like the women?

Kevin St. James, on 47th and 8th is fairly cheap (for Manhattan). Spnited and I thought we could start at The Pint and pub crawl around Manhattan.

How many folks do you think will be able to make it around Manhattan the whole night? Hopefully it will be a rather fair amount.

If I make it there, I'm in for the long haul. I might not remember large chunks of it...but I look forward to hearing about it at a later date.

Manhattan is easy to get around, since it's just a giant rectangle.

It seems like we're going to have a nice-sized crew, and hopefully everyone stays throughout the afternoon and evening.

This is not an attempt to rip on you IJAG, but it's fucking Manhattan. You aren't gonna find dollar drafts anywhere.

    Ha! No, I know that.

But I don't really want to pay $14 for a pint either.

Bottles of beer usually run about $5. So maybe you end up paying around seven or eight dollars for a pint.

Oh, that's completely fine then. I was just fearful.

Also, for those who want to start drinking before the outing, there are bodegas/delis on every corner that sell beers. Most are open 24 hours, so you can continue imbibing after we're asked to leave Kevin St. James at 4 A.M.
