Bad news continues, from The Pipeline:

The San Marcos Daily Record, bid farewell to 10 workers today as the printing press was shut down. It lost four dedicated workers in the press room and six more in the mail room. CNHI decided to move all printing operations to Austin to cut costs. The paper will now be printed at the Austin American-Statesman and then shipped back to for delivery.

We went through a similar thing last October, but lost 20 in the press and mail rooms. Sad news then and sad news now.
