San Francisco Examiner

  1. From craigslist San Francisco ... anybody have any idea what these opportunities would be like? I've seen opportunities to string preps before but not very often college games. What's the paper like now? Seems like it's had a turbulent history, especially recently.

Freelance Sports Writers (San Francisco and Peninsula)

The San Francisco Examiner is looking for freelance sports writers to cover local sports in San Francisco and on The Peninsula (Daly City-to-Atherton).
Previous experience covering prep sports is recommended.

Writers will have a chance to cover high school and college football games on deadline and also write features.

Please send a resume with clips and a short cover letter to Matt Elliser, Sports Editor, The San Francisco Examiner, 450 Mission St., 5th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105 or e-mail melliser@examiner.com.
