    Not sure I've ever even seen a cici's, but I've seen their commercials a lot. I always have the same response: $4.99? can that even be actual food?

    Salami on pizza is like catsup on a hot dog. Should never happen.

    You've got a point. Ketchup should be on hot dogs. No catsup.

    What is this catsup of which you speak?

    Cotto salami, absolutely not. It's meant to be eaten cold.

    Genoa salami, maybe, but pepperoni is an infinitely better choice.

    Genoa salami ruins cold cut sandwiches. That is all.

    Salami in scrambled eggs is pretty good.

    Sounds disgusting, yet I'm intrigued by it. Looks like tomorrow's breakfast menu is set.

    Ham + eggs = delicious
    Ham + pizza = pretty good
    Bacon + eggs = amazing
    Bacon + pizza = very good
    Salami = kind of gross
    Salami + anything = no thank you

    I like scrambled eggs with herbes de provence, bits of sliced provolone and a few grilled onions. Served best with a couple of slices of crusty bread and motor-oil-ish black coffee.

    Salami's best in an antipasto mix. Or on crackers. It really shouldn't be cooked, even the Genoa kind. Salami in calzone is Fail.

    I thought the same thing years ago. But cooked salami is pretty damn good. You'd be surprised.

    Way back when I used to cut up bologne (no, not bop it ...) and try it in eggs. Didn't have the same effect as salami.
