Most of these songs remind me of my father. Others are just sad.

"2:10, 6:18" - Jimmie Rodgers (About a former hero-turned blind man trying to catch a train)
"Seasons in the Sun" - Terry Jacks
"The Living Years" - Mike + The Mechanics
"Days Are Numbers (The Traveller)" - Alan Parsons Project
"Hell is for Children" - Pat Benatar
"Another Day in Paradise" - Phil Collins
"Think of Laura" - Christopher Cross (Reminds me of my little 10-year-old friend that was killed by a drunk driver)

"My How You've Grown" by 10,000 Maniacs. Always makes me want to call my mother and say hi.

"Touched By An Angel" -- Stevie Nicks (I think it's about someone who died of AIDS)
    "Beautiful Child" -- Fleetwood Mac
"Sisters Of The Moon" -- Fleetwood Mac (live from the Mirage concert video. Stevie's best friend died just before that video was shot.)

Can I say end of thread on Dignan's "Black?" No song ever fucked me up like that one.

Others from the broken-hearted summer of '92:
"Always The Last To Know," Del Amitri
"Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough," Patty Smyth and Don Henley
"End of the Road," Boyz II Men. Yeah it's awful cheese, but it was on every 12 minutes that summer and it killed me every time.
