    I made a special point of running a story about this in Monday's paper. I even dug up a photo of her from that time.

    We let news take it and they put it in the obit pages. We just were too squeezed with tourney stuff

    i think i saw a picture of her granddaughter and a louisville slugger on google images a few years back.

    I think the term 'Baseball Annie' incorporates a bit more than murderous teenyboppers. Otherwise the road to Sauget, Ill. would be littered with dead Cardinals.
