Know how I know you aren't really a big-time program?

    1. You dump your radio voice after 23 years.

    That's all I got.

Where is Gandolfini when you need him? The Sopranos money hasn't dried up yet.

Schiano will regret for the rest of his life that he didn't bolt for Miami.

    Not so much.
If the stadium doesn't get done by fall 2009, he can leave anyway (without penalty -- per the details released last week). Even if Rutgers wins 8 or 9 games this year, he'll still be highly coveted because he's young.

    He's in a win-win situation.

Fuck you, Hammer. I'm not a Rutgers alum. They already suck up too many of my tax dollars.

And unlike you SEC homer fanboi fucking loosers, I could give a shit if Rutghers football sucks.

  9. he has his eyes set on happy valley, anyway, not miami.

  10. FB,

    That radio voice was stale.

The fact that he was neither beloved after 23 years -- or not even that well-known -- tells you all you need to know.

    It's a good change.

This was stupid from the word go. You don't have your first winning season in decades in 2005 and then start planning a stadium expansion two years later. Seven or eight years later, after you've proven that you can continue to draw long-term, maybe.
