So we finally got the NFL Network on our cable system, and after watching the last 20 minutes I hope it gets better than this. Rich Eisen left the booth to be a part of one of those concert pregame shows I've come to loathe, and the remaining talking heads have been acting like it's all about them. Hell, Eisen was acting like it's all about him too.

Hell, I guess all the talking heads on every network act like it's all about them.

My point is I'd been led to believe the NFL Network was "more serious" coverage of the league. My first 20 minutes of watching has done nothing to confirm this. Can I expect better?

Yeah, nothing gets me jacked for a football like "This Kiss" by Faith Hill.

    Let me amend that ...

    Dear NFL,

Just start the fucking game, you assholes.

    Sincerely,

I'd like to know how the Colts got my cock ring for this ceremony. It's a good thing I had blue neon installed ahead of time.

And the Colts spew forth ... in Zardoz-like fashion.

I'm impressed that the Keyshia Cole turned the word "the" into a 47 syllable word, a la Dr. Perry Cox.

I was about to post exactly this. Great minds, I guess.

Someone PM me when they play the last pregame song and actually prepare to kick off. You just never know.

8:30, 8:45, 9:00, 10:30. Anytime they want to kick off, well, that'd be super.
