    Great move for the Seahawks, who will probably give up one of the last four first-round picks. Patriots gambled on Branch not being able to land big money elsewhere, and when they got called on it, they had no other choice but to attempt to trade him somewhere. I'm sure New England will survive, but that certainly doesn't help.

    Doesn't Seattle already have Jackson and Burleson? Don't see the logic here, unless I'm missing something.

    Speed. Hasselbeck was 25 for 30 yesterday ... for only 210 yards. They didn't have anyone who could stretch the field to make plays, but with Branch, they have that now.

    I think Jackson's also been injury prone the last couple years.

    Thanks, Oz. ::)

    I'm now having 2004 AFC Championship Game flashbacks.

    And Burleson sucks. Hard.

    Good for Branch. At some point, Belichick will be proven wrong that he can slot anyone at all into His System and win. Hopefully that's this year.

    2004? I don't remember what happened that season. I recall 2005 pretty well, though. :D

    Are you saying Troy Brown can't do it all?

    Heh. Regardless of what happened in February, I'm still pissed over '04, '01, '97 and '94. Fucking Dennis Gibson. :D
