I've waited eight months for this. Granted, I waited 30 years to be able to celebrate a Steelers Super Bowl victory -- the first four don't count when you're less than 6 years old and don't recall much -- and now I can't wait to see them again tonight. I have confidence that Charlie Batch will do just fine. And that when all the analysts say that Daunte Culpepper is back and ready to go, that means three lost fumbles.

I've got the Terrible Towel at work while doing pages ... yeah, I'm good to go.

Whatever you're smoking, Oz, don't you know it's impolite not to share? :D

Luckily, it's the Steelers and Batch won't have to do much. God, I hope Roethlisberger is back next week.

Am I the only one who hates these Thursday openers?

Well, he was 2-0 as a starter last season -- against the Browns and Packers, but still, 2-0.

If Batch throws fewer than 16 times, Steelers win.

They're total BS. If I want to listen to Rascal Flatts, I can do that any time.

Put the opening week back on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Is that too much to ask?
