Say what you want about Wie's record in majors, but what about this stat:

It has been five years since she won a single tournament, the 2003 WAPL. She hasn't won since then. Not once.

There is something about learning how to win. Inbee Park, for example, won the US Girls Jr. and a boatload of AJGA events. Morgan Pressel won events. So did many of the youngsters. Wie, however, was simply trying to make cuts and ducked top women's amateur competition in order to protect her perceived "value" in the marketplace.

None of that is good, but there is one much bigger problem: Girl can't putt. Her short game is horrendous. She simply doesn't have the touch around the greens and that is tough to learn.

None of them in the past two years. Who are you kidding? She's supposed to be getting better at 18 or 19, not regressing.

She is still so young she could turn it around and live up to her promise.

But at the current rate, she is on track to go down as the biggest bust in any sport, far worse than Ryan Leaf or anyone like him, given all the advance hype and endorsement money she has received.
