    Butchy, whose Ma was such a poor cook that when I went to his house for lunch I took cheese and crackers. He made me save some for him.

    He wasn't husky at all, but he could knock your block off. My front teeth are chipped...

    Mets' magic number is five, and Phillies' next three are against the Braves, with Hudson and Smoltz pitching the last two. Atlanta could help the Mets clinch. Oh, the irony.

    Wow. There's a blast from the past. Butch Huskey: the Hank Aaron of Port St. Lucie, circa the mid-to-late '90s.

    I picture him needing a crane to leave his house these days.

    Ned Yost has to be fired, right? They pissed this fucker away.
