Thanks, I hate it.

 

I don't hate it, I just don't see any use for it. How often are you going to get an image that you are able to scan and have it work?

I'm sure that it's easier than Google, but I can google a player pretty quickly. I'm not sure I see that many advantages. I suppose the QR code takes you to the player's home page and an NIL donation portal somehow.

Even in a spring game, there are reasons why numbers need to be easily visible. And my other fear is this paves the way for unis with a small number where you’d put a patch now and the middle will be a big ole ad for the local Chevy dealer or a fast food chain or something. Gross.

 

Why is there a 50,000 seat dome in Upstate New York? Always baffled me.

 

The answer, as always, is football.

 

Also used for hoops. And they get a bit of snow in Syracuse in the winter.
