Cuba went from being no-hit to leading very quickly. I was hoping Brasil could pull off a miracle...but it was fun to see them out there.

Must be the nine guys in Brazil who don 't play soccer.

Japan, Cuba, Taiwan and the Netherlands have advanced to the quarterfinals already. Korea, which was the runner-up in 2009, was the odd team out on a tie-breaker with Taiwan and the Dutch.

And to honor the passing of their president, Venezuela went out and lost 9-3 to the Dominican Republic tonight.

Netherlands up 2-1 in the fifth on Cuba. That'd be a nice upset.

5-1 Aruba, uh, the Netherlands now.

And Cuba has hit into five double plays through six innings.

Lol, some dude on the Netherlands just fell into the camera well going after a fly ball, had it hit off his glove, picked it up while on the ground and convinced the umpires he made the catch.

The Dutch closer is 7-foot-1 and his name is Ludovicus Jacobus Maria Van Mil. I really hope he makes the Indians this season.

Wow. The only way that name gets better is if it has "the IV' on the end of it.
