So golfers are now taking PEDs, too, eh?

Damn Phil is the epitome of the hot/cold golfer; he'd be the perfect partner for the four-ball tour.

Of course, this is Phoenix, not Cog Hill.

Dustin Johnson is a lucky fella. From the Monterey Herald's Pebble Beach reporter:

John Devine @JohnJDevine I'm not sure who was signing more autographs. Wayne Gretzky or his daughter Paulina, a model following her dad and boyfriend Dustin Johnson

Very late to the party but yes, DD, that was excellent.

But it has one of my golf pet peeves, along the same lines of PGA vs. PGA Tour: it's not "the TPC Sawgrass." It's "TPC Sawgrass."

    Nitpicking over.

Always love the Crosby - if for no other reason than to realize who still counts as a "celebrity."

This year's edition...Gary Mule Deer of Gong Show fame.

I figure there are about a dozen people who are on "standby" year to year when a big name or top CEO has to bail at the last minute.

That was California getting its revenge. Now Phil is free to move.

Dumbass is lucky he didn't break his wrist and lose what might be his last best season with a shot at a major.

Well, that pretty much locks this golf thread.

Jim Nantz is never more white bread then why he is kissing the behind of some CEO shooting for bogey/net par.

Wild opening at the Match Play. Four inches of snow on Wednesday. They finally get going today -- and Tiger (2 down, two to go) and Rory (1 down playing 18) could be one and done.

Rory goes down. Tiger out. Been a bad couple of months for Nike...
