Energy level's still a little low -- it's early -- but I love, love the atmosphere in the Tokyo Dome. Hope I'll one day get a chance to attend a game there and at Koshien stadium in Hanshin (where Babe Ruth played.)

And Japan, as expected, cruises, 4-0. Their pitching looks REAL good; they've got some studs.

Looks to me like Yu Darvish is living up to the hype. Sweet stuff.

And anyway, I knew I was going to like the kid when I saw his blog was called "Thoughts of Yu."

I absorb a lot good man from your dull senior players!

That's what A-Rod should have told the investigators ...

I am going to be in my car all day on Saturday and I was trying to find some info on whether these WBC games would be on the radio. After scoring the internet, including mlb.com, I came up with nothing. Just that the semis and finals are on ESPN Radio.

    Any help?

I'm betting they will turn up on XM.

    Boom. Grand slam, Korea.

    Already 6-0 in the first.

Ichiro has two hits in the first two innings. Crazy game so far -- and great atmosphere.

Japan scored three runs in the first, Korea answered with two. Now Japan has the bases loaded in the second with no outs.

Ichiro 3, Korea 2. I wonder if Japan is trying for the mercy rule now.

Annnd ... there's our mercy rule. 14-2 in 7 innings. Japan moves on to San Diego.

Anyone else rooting for the Dutch to hold on?
