It is the best conference in the history of conferences, or so I'm told daily.

 

I can't wait to read all about what Matt Stafford has to say... whut? No?
Well, John Parker Wilson will certainly say something profound... huh?
How about Jonathan Crompton? Him either? Kodi Burns? Chris Todd? Casey Dick?

 

Or someone can ask Nick Saban what happened to Terrance Farmer

 

Whole bunch of clueless linemen seem to be the star players for schools this season.
Or as a columnist here put it, nothing all season will get as much coverage and be less news.
A complete waste of time and just about everyone knows it.

 

C'mon ... it features the two most important elements of life in the south: football and bullshit.

 

The two most important elements in Southern life are gravy and deep-fried foods.
Both will be consumed at SEC media days, but no news will come out of Hoover this week.

Half the writers will be at Dreamland tonight.

 

You know, it really doesn't feel like football season until the bashing of SEC writers begins.

Thank goodness the tradition continues.
