Which should mean Coughlin gets paged to pick up the white courtesy phone.

The KC-Indy game will look nothing like the shoot-outs they've put up in their last two meetings. Methinks Herm and Co. will be studying that Jags/Colts tape intently. Me also thinks that KC won't run a play with more than 10 seconds on the play clock unless the situation dictates a hurry-up mode.

And lastly, me also thinks that this is the one playoff matchup Peyton and Co. didn't want to see in the first round.

  3. And now that everyone is counting them out, this may be the year they finally make the Super Bowl.

You've been smoking too much reefer and spent a little too much time with the sippin' whiskey there, Red. I'm sure they're the only team in the Super Bowl era to hit a four-team parlay for a playoff berth. I'd love to see them in Miami, but it ain't happening.

  5. I was referring to the Colts.

The best way for Indy to stop Johnson is to take a 14-0 lead. Herm will abandon the run quicker than he did the Jets & the Colts win comfortably. Cowboys lose on a late, long FG (again).

Predictions that mean nothing to anyone but me:

    AFC wild-card matchups

Kansas City Chiefs over Indianapolis Colts.
N.Y. Jets over New England Patriots.

    NFC wild-card matchups

    Seattle Seahawks over Dallas Cowboys.
Philadelphia Eagles over New York Giants (Coughlin fired days after the loss).

Byes: San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints

    Divisional playoffs
    AFC
    Chargers over Chiefs.
    Ravens over Jets.

    NFC
    Seahawks over Bears.
Saints over Eagles in the best game of the 2006-07 NFL playoffs.

    Conference championships
    AFC
    Chargers over Ravens.

    NFC
    Saints over Seahawks.

    Super Bowl XLI
    Chargers over Saints.

Will McNabb be rooting for the Eagles or the Giants?

    That's a stupid question.

Not really. The farther the Eagles go behind Garcia, the more McNabb looks like The Guy Who Couldn't Get It Done And Got Hurt. This has all the ingredients of a legendary QB controversy.
